AI onboarding assistant
An AI onboarding assistant answers new users’ questions inside your application and guides them through their first few days.
Background
New users need the most help in their first few days. If they cannot find a feature, they give up or call support. For SaaS providers, onboarding often decides whether a trial turns into a contract.
What the assistant can do
Answer questions from your documentation
Show hints that match the current screen
Guide users step by step through set-up and first tasks
Hand over to support, with everything collected so far
Technology
The assistant uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over your manual, FAQ and help texts. It answers only from these approved sources, not from the model’s general knowledge. Permissions and data access follow the logged-in user’s role.
Transparency and data storage
The assistant is labelled as AI, as the EU AI Act requires, and processes personal data only as far as it needs to. Models run with providers that process data in the EU, or on your own infrastructure.
Measuring impact
We track how quickly new users adopt core features and how many support requests arise during onboarding. Unanswered questions reveal gaps in documentation or interface.
New features are covered as soon as the documentation is updated.
